As a patient’s disease process continues, he or she may grow weaker and feel less stable. Mobility becomes a challenge, and it is important to avoid falls. We work closely with Hancock Home Medical Equipment to help provide the safe, high-quality medical equipment you need to help ensure your loved one is comfortable and secure at home. These are the most commonly requested items for hospice patients in the home:

• A wheelchair
• A walker or rollator
• An over-the-bed table
• An oxygen concentrator
• Bath equipment

Speak with your RN case manager to learn more about the equipment that is available. We will contact Hancock Home Medical Equipment and arrange delivery and provide any education you need to use the equipment safely and responsibly.
