How One Patient Decided

We thought we’d share with you a beautiful and well-written letter one of our patients shared with us about how she let her family know she felt the time was right for hospice care. In this loving and honest letter she describes the benefits we see so many of our patients and families enjoy–quality time together, with the energy to do the things that matter most in the presence of those who mean the most.

This patient went on to do just as she said, “live life to the fullest.” She traveled to see all her kids, she walked on the beach, she went to farmer’s markets, and she spent plenty of time with her grandkids. Life was rich and full, and she lived it her way.
